Notice. This portal presents research results derived from protected health information (PHI) maintained by the Military Health System. Although the content displayed here is aggregated and de-identified consistent with the HIPAA Privacy Rule (45 CFR § 164.514), the underlying data and any content you view, download, screenshot, or transcribe remains subject to the confidentiality obligations of the study protocol and the data use agreement governing this evaluation.
Your obligations as a viewer
- Use this site only for purposes authorized by the study team and your institutional role.
- Do not share your access credentials, magic-link, or any screenshots, exports, or transcriptions outside the approved collaborator list.
- Do not attempt to re-identify individuals from aggregated results.
- Do not redistribute figures or text publicly without written authorization from the study PI.
- Report any suspected unauthorized access, credential compromise, or inadvertent disclosure to the study contact below within 24 hours.
Safeguards in place
- Transport encryption (TLS 1.3) on every request.
- Identity-based access via Cloudflare Access (magic-link or SSO).
- Access logs retained for audit review.
- No raw PHI is displayed on this site; content is limited to aggregate statistics, study-level figures, and the manuscript.
Legal framework. Use of this portal is governed by:
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (Privacy Rule, 45 CFR Part 164, Subpart E).
- Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030); unauthorized access is a federal offense.
- The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) Institutional Review Board protocol under which this research is conducted.
- Defense Health Agency and Department of Defense policies governing handling of DoD medical data.
